O’Brien voices concerns over wind farms: The Racing Post, 17 December 2014

ANNEMARIE O’BRIEN, wife of leading trainer Aidan, has voiced her concerns about the potential threat of wind turbines to the bloodstock industry in Ireland, stating there could be several negative knock-on effects.

“The scale of the threat to heartland Irish industries, such as bloodstock, tourism and agriculture and to all electricity bill payers from yet more costly, subsidised wind farms, and pylon blight from excessive wind farm development in Ireland, is only just revealing itself,” said O’Brien in the Irish Field.
