New rural Ireland group moves to stop some TDs getting re-elected: News 106-108fm, 27 October 2015

A new group aimed at preserving rural Ireland have launched a campaign to stop certain TDs getting re-elected.

The anti-pylon and wind farm group say that some politicians are ‘toxic’ for rural Ireland.

They say that 2020 energy targets for Ireland could be reached without turbines and pylons by converting Moneypoint station in Co Clare to sustainable biomass.
